Our Purpose
Everything the Council does continues to embrace the Mission of RTCA and further strengthen the five core values of the Council. Those values are Salvation, Discipleship, Fellowship, Ministry/Mission and Worship. It is our precise purpose as given through the scripture to bring the word of God and invitation of Jesus Christ to those working in the Horse Racing Industry. Paul declares in Romans 10:17 “So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ.” We refer you to Romans 10 for a detailed scriptural reference of our understanding of God’s purpose and how He is asking us to live that purpose out.
Enclosed is a small sampling of events and opportunities offered thru the RTCA Ministry and ways the Illinois Council is attempting to make a difference in the lives of Illinois race trackers and fulfill God’s calling.
